In meiner Arbeit ging ich den Unterschieden zwischen deutscher und amerikanischer „Art“ nach. Die omnipräsente Aufforderung: „please form a line in this way“ als eine Art american way of life? Disziplin als solides Fundament absoluter Freiheit oder Freiheit als Ventil strenger Disziplin? this is not a walk way cross over!
In 2009 I received the work grant from the city of Dresden in Cleveland / Ohio / USA.
In my work, I followed the differences between the German and American „style“. The omnipresent request: „Please form a line in this way“ as a kind of American way of life? Discipline as a solid foundation of absolute freedom or freedom as an outlet for strict discipline? this is not a walk way cross over!
